If you are wanting to plant trees please stop in and make a plan with us. We need to make sure you are planting the trees in appropriate areas. If the District is planting your trees you must follow NRCS's Standards and Specs and the Cultural Resources must be cleared. The planting site will also need to be broken a year in advance.
COSTS:
In the Fall we soil test with 2 pick up equipped with in cab soil probes.
We also GPS all probe sites and return to those sites in the following years if the Cooperator so wishes. The District sends the soil to be sampled for a Small Grains test which includes Nitrogen (2 depths), Phosphorus, Potassium, pH, Salts, Sulfur, Chloride, Copper, and Organic Matter or a Row Crop test which includes Nitrogen (2 depths), Phosphorus, Potassium, pH, Salts, Sulfur, Zinc, Copper, and Organic Matter. Any additional or individual test will be provided at an additional charge. The charges for soil testing will include lab costs, are subject to change at any time and are as follows:
Maps brought in after October 15th will be considered for spring testing and an additional $40 per field will be subject to pay
This drill is 15 feet wide. Has 3 boxes and 7.5 in spacing. This drill has a agitator for grass but can seed cover crops. It costs $10.00 per acre or $12.00 when transported (if available). Also need $300 deposit.
